Rob left this world after showing remarkable courage and strength after a lengthy illness.
He loved adventure and the outdoors, finding joy and freedom in movement. Whether he was skateboarding, riding mountain trails, or carefully flying his RC planes, he embraced each moment with quiet passion and curiosity.
He had a beautiful smile that stayed with him, lighting up those around him and reflecting the simple happiness he found in life. To Rob, strangers were friends not yet met.
Camping under open skies brought him a deep sense of peace—he felt most at home there, surrounded by nature and simplicity.
Above all, his greatest love was for his wife and best friend, Nicole, and his beloved furry son, Milo. He also leaves behind his mom and dad, Wendy and Hans Nitsch who will forever miss his nightly calls, just to say " Goodnight, I love you ".
He is deeply missed by his half siblings, Tyler and Megan Goerz, his cherished daughter Raeleigh; and his many nieces and nephews- Lily and Josh, Rachel and Benjamin, Brooklyn, Adelyn, and Felix- who all truly shared a special bond with their Uncle Rob.
He was predeceased by his sister, Heidi Nitsch, and we take comfort in knowing they are together again—reunited in spirit, laughing and at peace.
"From wheels to wings, let your spirit fly high
Where the choir sings, this is not goodbye"
A Celebration of Life for this beautiful man will be held Monday May 4th at 1:00pm at Peace Portal Church,15128 27B Avenue, Surrey.
