After a long, hard fought battle, the time had come for Bob to join his family; son (Rick), mom (Trixie), Dad (Buck), and sister (Sharon). Born on March 24, 1935 in Vancouver, Bob stayed and lived and loved his family throughout his years in Vancouver, Richmond & Langley. Bob joined the VPD in 1962, spending 30 years on the force where he served in several different areas making a difference for the City of Vancouver. “Bob, you always wanted to give someone a hand up if they were in need and we will always admire your strong work ethic which could set an example for millions. You will be forever etched in our memory as our loving husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa to your wife, Sharon; daughter, Tracy (John); grandchildren, Haley, Riley, Andrea (John), Rachel (Dave); and great grandchildren, Emily, Payton, James and Sarah.” Please join us for Bob’s Service of Remembrance on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 11:00am at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28 Ave, Surrey.
