Sarah "Sally" Jane Drummond MacPherson

MACPHERSON, Sarah (Sally) Jane Drummond. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt on Saturday July 22, 2023 at age 99. Mom was born on April 27, 1924 in Burnaby. She is predeceased by her husband Neil, son Murdo and grandson Neil.

Her story…….. Sally grew up in Ardley (Burnaby) with her brothers John and Roland. She had good memories of the wonderful life she had as a child. Leaving high school early, she enrolled at Vancouver Technical School to become a comptometer operator. Sally liked working, but took a break to be a wife and mother. When she returned to work at Woodward’s she made friends and retired feeling fulfilled.

Mom leaves behind her adored daughters, Jan of Smithers and Marilyn of South Surrey.

Her beloved grandchildren, Michael (Kristi), David (Dany), Heather, Brock(Tami), Daniel (Kirsten) and Blake (Kim). Her blessed great grandchildren, Vienna, Eva, Amy, Hunter, Atticus, William, Abigale, Rylin and Maddox.

A special mention to Sally’s nephews who she thought of often, Larry and Rob Hall and David Boshard. Thank you.
