So shocked, saddened and full of tears just hearing today from my dear friend Terry that Sharon is no longer with us. 

She was a wonderful lady who worked tirelessly devoting her life to her adoring family: Peter , Brooke , Terry (DAD) and her dear Mum Rose. and everyone else she had the pleasure of knowing too.
Sharon was also a lady full of giving, joyous and selflessly helping all those whom had the fortunate pleasure of meeting and knowing her, as indeed I did first meeting the Heneghan family (Terry , Rose and Sharon ) in Richmond 1988 !

My sincerest condolences and heart felt sympathies go out to Peter , Brooke and Terry and all those who knew her.

God Bless Sharon may you find peace and happiness in the heavens above and with you dearest Mum Rose too !

Such sad news as she was a wonderful family member and a great mom. Life is not always fair, and it's certainly not predictable. My wishes are that the family can find comfort in memories.

So sorry for the lost of Sharon although I didn't know her well she seemed very nice..... Thought is with u Brooke and ur family u know that!!! Love u baby boo (Brooke)

I am filled with sorrow for Pete and Brooke. Sharon and I grew up together in Richmond attending the same schools.We learned to ski on Mount Seymour and shared many laughs and fun times as teens. We celebrated Grade 12 Grad together.Then as young adults we vacationed in Mexico and hung out on weekends. I remember when she told me of her love for Pete after a summer spent with him and the gang of us from Canadian Airlines. I was so happy for her and was delighted when they married. We lost touch over the years but ran into each other again 9 years ago in Delta at the Sungod Skating Club where our daughters shared skating lessons. She had that brilliant smile that I always remembered. Today I take that image and tuck it into my heart. Rest in Peace, old friend. It is with heavy hearts that we learned of Sharon's sudden, unexpected passing.  Sharon was such a vibrant woman, and an especially passionate and dedicated wife, mother and daughter to her family. We met through our daughters who were fast friends in elementary school and Sharon was always available to help navigate parenthood, schooling and social events with the girls well into high school. We are forever grateful to both her and Pete. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Pete, Brooke, Terry, Pete's parents, her friends and co-workers.  Please know that Sharon's laugh and smile will always be with us. She loved, and was well loved. Sharon will be missed very much by us as a family and also individually as she had a way about her that will not be forgotten. We are grateful to have been touched by, and been a part of, her too brief life.
