Shu-Te passed away peacefully at Irene Thomas Hospice in Delta, British Columbia with her loving family by her side to be reunited with her husband. She is survived by her son Shih-Ming Wu (Hui-Kuang), granddaughters: Ming-Hsuan Wu (Long Long Cao), Ming-Chieh Wu, Ming-Shin Wu, and beloved family dog Misha Wu; her daughter Shih-Wen Wu (Yung-Ming Chen); grandson Ignatius Chen, granddaughter Iris Chen; Daughter Shih-Fen Wu (Craig Clark).
Shu-Te devoted her entire life to loving and caring for other people; she solely raised her two younger brothers. She was a devoted elementary school teacher for 40 years. Shu-Te will be remembered for her excellent cooking, her generosity, hospitality and love towards others.
As per her final wishes, the family will be bringing Shu-Te back to Taiwan to be laid to rest with her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Irene Thomas Hospice in Shu-Te’s name would be greatly apprecicated.
