Beatrice Levesque Richard

Born in Fall River a daughter of the late Ovide and Aglaee (Berube) Levesque, she lived in Fall River for all of her life until moving to Somerset Ridge seven years ago.

A Nurse’s Aide, she worked at the Catholic Memorial Home for several years before retiring in 1973. A communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Fall River she also loved to play Bingo and to go to Foxwoods.

She is survived by four daughters, Therese A. Wesling, Helene J. Fusco and husband Steven, Patricia A. Cardoza and Paula T. Jamiel and husband Michael; one son, Lionel A. “Pete” Richard and partner Dianne Correa; nineteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers, eight sisters and her daughter, Georgette B. Baldwin. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Somerset Ridge Center for the loving care they gave Beatrice over the past seven years.

Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 1335 North Main St., Fall River. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4:00 – 7:00PM. Contributions in her honor may be made to Hope Hospice, 765 Attucks Ln., Hyannis, MA 02601. Burial will be private.
