Born in New Bedford, a son of the late William and the late Hazel Faber, he was a longtime resident of Somerset.
A graduate of New Bedford High School, he served in the National Guard for 6 years. A bartender at the Venus de Milo for over 20 years, he worked for Sullivan Auctioneers in Dartmouth and owned and operated a Shell Station in Swansea for 10 years. Before his retirement in 1998, he had been a salesman at United Linen, Vestall, and John Vaccaro Company for over 30 years. He was both a Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader in the area for many years.
Sully was known for his quick-witted humor and could not only give it, but he could take it and he loved to joke. He loved all New England sports teams, watching Notre Dame College Football, traveling, and most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Davila and her husband Nicholas of Gardner, MA and Maura A.
