Doris “Dot” (Pereira) Desrosiers, age 90, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Leo O. Desrosiers Jr. to whom she has been married for 52 years.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Manuel and Rosa (Rodrigues) Pereira, she was a lifelong area resident. An avid reader, she enjoyed cooking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren who she adored.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Carol Lamontagne of Castleberry, FL, Cheryl Denmark and husband Jay of Leland, NC, one sister; Irene Hicks of Fall River, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lillian Reed and James Pereira.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd. Swansea, MA.
