Frances M. Reed Meadows

Meadows, Frances M. (Reed), age 94, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Community in East Greenwich. She was the wife of the late Clyde D. Meadows to whom she was married for 60 years before his passing in 2006.

Born in Hinton, West Virginia a daughter of the late Lonza L. and Nina S. (Deeds) Reed she lived in West Virginia and Colorado before moving to North Kingstown and East Greenwich, RI.

Mrs. Meadows was extremely hard working and enjoyed her involvement with her church and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving daughter Nina O’Connell and her husband Thomas of North Kingstown; one brother, James E. Reed; four grandchildren, Jennifer Patrusevich, Joy Brooks, Janelle Pinto and Julie Radion; and six great-grandchildren, Julianna, Autumn, Lexi, Daisy, Riley and Troy. She was the sister of the late Harold, Ronald and Allen Reed, Margie Hamm and Lucille Reed and great-grandmother of the late Isabella.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea followed by burial in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.
