Born in Norwood, the eldest daughter of William D. MacIntyre of Norwood and the late Mary (Wilson) MacIntyre, she was raised in Walpole and has been a resident of Swansea for two decades.
A graduate of Walpole High School, Class of 1988, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Daytona State College in Florida. She worked as an Illustrator for the Gift Wrap Company in Hudson for many years.
Artistically talented and creative in all endeavors, she improved every space she entered- not only with her impeccable sense of style, but simply with her presence. An effortless beauty, she could roll out of bed looking like a million bucks. Her generous spirit was as contagious as her laugh, and she influenced everyone around her to be a better person. She was an expert listener, always ready to offer a kind word to those in need. Eternally optimistic, she would always find positivity in any situation. The graceful, unassuming way she touched every heart that crossed her path should serve as an inspiration for us all.
Heidi was quite spiritual and found peace in praying the rosary daily. She cultivated her own connection with God through nature, self reflection, and prayer. In recent years she was honored to make a religious pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Portugal. Even as she struggled with her own illness, she was compelled to heal others and became a certified Reiki Master. Her practice was aptly named “Strengh & Grace” after the manner in which she conducted her final years. She found solace in the healing touch and was most at peace in the comfortable retreat of her “She Shed” amongst the calming presence of family and friends.
In addition to Daniel and her father, she is survived by countless loved ones including three children; Kyla Oliveira and her husband Manny of Fairhaven, Skye and Nathyn Silvia both of Swansea; three sisters, Heather MacIntyre, Erin MacIntyre, Aimee Logan and her husband Jared; long time best friend, Sue Wilson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00PM in the Waring Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea, MA. Relatives and friends invited. Contributions in her honor may be made to the family fundraiser at https://gofund.me/14e81653. Burial private.
