Judith L. Santore

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (Berube) Santore.

Judy was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and B.M.C. Durfee High School. She furthered her education by earning an associate's degree from Bristol Community College.

She worked for many years as an office manager at a certified public accounting firm, where she developed extensive knowledge of tax preparation and generously assisted family and friends. Prior to her retirement, she served as a human resources manager at a veterinary hospital.

Judy found joy in reading books by her favorite authors, traveling to Newport and Cape Cod, playing cards, and shopping. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her life.

Judy is survived by her loving children, Lisa Camara and her significant other, Joe, of Warwick, and Scott Camara and his wife, Yannick, of Rehoboth. She was the former wife of the late Daniel Camara of Fall River. She also leaves her sister, Carol Rosa of Somerset, and her sister-in-law, Nancy Correia of Fall River. She was the cherished grandmother of Kyle Mercier, Calliope Camara, and Caiden Camara, and the proud great-grandmother of Jason Mercier. Judy is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Jason Camara, and her siblings, Richard Santore, Jeannette Cloutier, and Phyllis Marchand.

Her Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
