Julia L. (Bennett) Caron, age 62, of Swansea, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Attleboro, she was the daughter of Susanna (Eliason) Baker of Swansea and the late Ralph Bennett.
She attended Joseph Case High School and New England Institute of Technology. She was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
She was a free spirit, an avid nature lover and enjoyed gardening.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by four children, Lindsey R. Caron, Abbie L. Caron, Molly A. Caron, Timothy B. Mendes and his wife Caitlin Kershaw of Swansea; two brothers, Steven Bennett and his wife Barbara of Scituate, RI and Kenneth Baker and his wife Shelley of Swansea; one grandson, Wesley Caron; one niece, Mercedes Baker and one nephew, Kenneth Baker.
Her visitation will be held on March 24, 2021 from 10:00AM to 12:00 NOON in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Due to current occupancy restrictions, please be mindful that guests may have to wait outside while others pay their respects. Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, her funeral service and burial will be private.
