Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James R. and Dorothy May (Adams) Scott, she lived in South Attleboro for many years before moving to Rehoboth twenty years ago.
She was the owner and operator of Torch Contract Soldering and also worked at the Mason Box both in Attleboro. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles.
She is survived by one daughter: Melissa A. Dupont of Rehoboth, one son: Wayne J. Ferreira of Fall River, three sisters: Shirley Perry of Warwick, Mary MacDonald of Providence, RI, Martha Scott of Rehoboth, one brother: Robert H. Scott and his wife Bonnie of Robeline, LA, two grandchildren: Logan Dupont of Rehoboth, Landen Ferreira of Fall River, and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late John “Randy” Scott.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 6:30PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardner’s Neck Rd., Swansea. Relatives and friends invited.
