Kirk Anthony Hentschell, age 43 of Somerset, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 4, 2016. Born in Flint, Michigan, the son of Marcella (Gavagan) Solomito of Somerset and the late Rudolph H. Hentschell and stepfather John Solomito of Somerset. He was a 1991 graduate of Somerset High School.
Kirk was employed with Harbor Freight Tools. He was a United States Army Reservist. He enjoyed golf, working out and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his girlfriend, Tara Souza and their son, Jase Anthony Hentschell, and Tara's son Jordan Souza of Fall River. He is also survived by his brother Kristopher Solomito and wife Rebecca, niece Haley Solomito and nephew Joseph Solomito, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. His funeral services and burial are private.
