

He was born in São Miguel, Azores, the son of the late Antonio M. and Margarida (Tavares) Pavao. For over 25 years, Luis was employed as a Union Carpenter with Local #1305 in Fall River and enjoyed antique cars and spending time with his dog Bear.
He is survived by his six brothers and sisters Antonio Pavao of Westport, Anna Borges of Fall River, Mary H. Dias of Fall River, Alphonso Pavao of California, Connie Pavao of Fall River and Natalie Moniz of Fall River; his three god children Stacy Barroso, Erik D. Dias and Zachary Moniz and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, including the late David M. Pavao.
His funeral will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 9am from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea followed by his funeral mass at 10am in St. Francis of Assisi Church 530 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute P.O.
