Born in Providence, RI a daughter of the late James and Caroline (Mal Pino) Palumbo, she was raised in Barrington, resided in Swansea and then Somerset for the past 30 years.
She attended Barrington High School and Beauty School. A self-employed hairdresser she owned “Creative Hair by Maryann” in Somerset for over 50 years before retiring in 2011. She had also worked at the American Tourister in Warren and Cherry and Webb in the Swansea Mall. Ms. Pirri enjoyed her adult coloring books, the slots at the Casino and mostly enjoyed holding yard sales.
She is survived by one son, Joseph J. Pirri, III and his wife Jennifer of Concord, NC; one brother, James Palumbo and two grandchildren, Brianna and Anthony Pirri.
Due to current restrictions her burial in Maria del Campo Cemetery, Barrington will be private and is under the direction of Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest.
