Muriel V. O'Brien

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Marianne Antoinette (Langlois) Harrison. A graduate of Somerset High School, she worked as a Bookkeeper in the woodworking industry for their family business OB’s Wood Crafts.

She is survived by one daughter, Colleen O’Brien-Lemelin and her husband Scott of Somerset; one son Michael O’Brien and his wife Lynn of Hebron, NH; nine grandchildren, Chris, Evan, Sean, Dianna, Jennifer, Bobby, Garrett, Caitlin and Zane; seventeen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Kevin O’Brien and Timothy O’Brien and sister of the late Doris Blanchard and Germaine Bohannon.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Joseph and Muriel O'Brien will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church, 306 South Street, Somerset followed by their committal service in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea. Arrangements are entrusted to Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea.
