Mr. Roger R. Morin

Born in Rochester, Massachusetts, he was a son of Edmund Morin of New Bedford and the late Evelyn (Caron) Morin he lived in New Bedford before moving to Swansea in 1975.

He was a graduate of New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School and worked as a switch technician for AT&T Wireless in Providence. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was in the Air National Guard for 18 years.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by three sons, Matthew R. Morin and his wife Jenna of Somerset, Daniel J. Morin and his wife Diane of Las Vegas, NV, Roy A, Morin of Swansea, two daughters Melissa J. Callahan and her husband Shawn of Somerset, and Elizabeth A. Morin of Fall River, two brothers Edmund Morin Jr. and his wife Frances of New Bedford and Arthur J. Morin and his wife Janet of Freetown, two grandchildren and one on the way and one niece and one nephew.

His Celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:00AM in Grace Gospel Church 271 Sharps Lot Road, Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Contributions in his honor may be made to the Grace Gospel Teen Ministry, 271 Sharps Lot Road, Swansea, MA 02777. Burial at a later date in the Massachusetts National Cemetery at Bourne. Arrangements are in the care of the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST Swansea.
