Roland J. Medeiros

Roland J. Medeiros, age 86, of Swansea, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the beloved husband of Virginia (Doll) Medeiros to whom he had been married 47 years. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel J. and Hortense (Santos) Medeiros. An avid gunman, Roland was a member of various gun clubs and enjoyed photography. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Kelli Rapoza and her husband Joseph of Rehoboth; five grandchildren, Jacob, Samantha, Jill, Joseph and Noah; two nephews, Greg and Jay Povey and one niece, Ginni Plourde. Roland was the brother of the late George and Thomas Medeiros. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea followed by a Service in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in Christ Church Cemetery, Swansea.
