FORREST, Agatha Lillian (LeBlanc) Hearts broken and eyes filled with tears we said goodbye to our loving mother Lillian on January 10, 2020 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born on March 15, 1936 in Alder Point, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Emma (Marsh) LeBlanc. Lillian loved to go to Indian Beach to listen to the bands playing. She loved listening to Newfie music, her soap operas and sitting with her dog Beauty. Mom leaves behind to mourn her daughter, Agnes (Jim); sons, John (Maureen), Cyril (Debbie); her grandkids, Ryan, Ashley and Cory; 13 great-grandchildren, and her best friend, Barbie Walsh, whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by sisters, Joyce (James) Paquet, Mary O’Tool; brother, Cyril LeBlanc; brothers-in-law, John Thurbide and Albert Theriault, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her husband, John; her sisters, Madonna, Veronica and Marguerite; brothers, Joseph, Frank, William, and brother-in-law, David O’Tool. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Holy Family Church with Fr. Jim Oliver officiating. Inurnment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in the spring.
