We regret to announce the sudden passing of Barbara M. Bonnar, 89 of Sydney Mines on Friday, March 25, 2011 at home. Born in Sydney Mines, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Caroline (Wolstenhome) Maxwell.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Jerry) Billard; granddaughter, Darlene (James) MacDonald; grandsons, Brian (Nadine), Kevin (Barbara); great-grandchildren, Jessica and Jaden MacDonald, Aiden, Shealyn and Jeremy Billard. Also survived by sister, Jean Atkinson; brother, William and special friends, Peggy LeClare and Louise Hanna. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander; brother, Alex; sisters, Esther, Annie and Violet.
Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation by request. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date, with Rev.
