Dear Ward & all the family,

Carol and I send our deepest condolences to you on the death of your mom. I am very grateful that I was able to see you all last summer and that Carol was able to meet you and all the family, including your mom. It was great to see the strong family ties you folks have and love of life, thanks no doubt to your wonderful mom. She was a very kind and wonderful woman. I will always remember her kindness to us kids, even if we were into some mischief at times. I am thankful for our close friendship from the old neighbourhood and fun times we had growing up. It was a special place and time. We are praying for your mom and for God's grace and peace to all of you at this difficult time. How Can I Say Goodbye

Mom its been days now since
God and His Angels called you away.
Oh how the Angels rejoiced as you walked
Through those Pearly Gates that day!

Mom when they said you were going to die
We refused to believe it could be true.
How could we allow ourselves to even
Imagine saying goodbye to you.

Mom you were an Angel here on earth
We learned so very much from you.
You were so gentle and so kind your
Smile would always see us through.

You taught us how to love unconditionally
And how to be our very best in all we do.
You gave your all to God and your family
Never once stopping to think about you.

You were more than a Mother you were my
Best friend and a great listener too.
Oh how we miss our special talks, and
All the fun things we used to do.

Mom we can never say goodbye to you,
Because we could never bear the pain.
Instead we say we love you Mom
Until we meet again.

Kim, I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your sweet Mom. You always spoke so lovingly of her and it sounded (and looked!) like she lived life to the fullest.
