Diane dedicated her career to shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher, a role she held with great pride and compassion. Her love for life was reflected in the simple joys she cherished—spending time visiting with friends and sharing many spirited games of cards.
Diane was predeceased by her parents Chester & Sadie (Donovan) Dunphy & her beloved husband, Reed Dowling, and now rests peacefully, reunited with him. She leaves behind her devoted children: daughter Michelle (Jason) LeBlanc and son Shawn (Tracy) Dowling. Diane’s heart was full of love and immense pride for her grandchildren Drew (Joni), Ashley, Mackenzie (Malery), and Hailey.
She will be deeply missed by her dear friends who supported her with daily good morning & good night messages, calls, visits & lunches together. She will also be missed dearly by her furry friend Mozwell.
Diane’s family extends sincere thanks to the Home Care and Home Support teams, if it wasn’t for your loving care and support, Diane would not have been able to stay at home, as well as the compassionate staff at Buchanan Memorial Hospital and Palliative Care for their dedicated care.
A funeral mass for Diane and Reed will be held at St. Peter’s Parish Church on Saturday, June 7th @ 11am celebrating their love and lives.
Diane’s warmth, kindness, and laughter will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
