Anne Marie Lelandais nee McMullin, of Grand Lake Road, passed away peacefully at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Monday February 27, 2017.

Born in Glace Bay in 1934, she was the daughter of the late Alec and Florence McMullin. She was employed until her retirement as a bookkeeper with Tops Supermarket. She was also a volunteer quilter with Red Cross and an avid bridge player, as well as enjoying many types of crafts.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Wayne) Flynn of Howie Centre, her granddaughters Kyla (Don) Findlay and Keely (Dan) Messenger and her cherished great grandchildren Declan, Haven and Adaira Findlay and Ivy, Poppy and Holly Messenger, all of Calgary; sister Judy McMullin of Glace Bay, sisters-in-law Phyllis McMullin, Gatha McMullin and Linda McMullin and nieces and nephews.

Predeceasing Anne were her husband of 61 years, Henry ‘Frenchy’, son Michael, two sons in infancy and brothers Gerard, Angus, Sandy and Daryl.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 4 from 2-3 pm with funeral service and reception to follow at 3 pm at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel.
