Athanasius, better known as Shish, was a member of Holy Family Parish. Athanasius worked as a janitor at the Eskasoni Foodland Supermarket for many years and later completed training as a bricklayer. He enjoyed music, dancing and hanging out with friends and family. He was everyone’s favourite uncle and was a very loved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. He was always willing to lend a hand and was someone who really cared and listened. Athanasius will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh, crazy funny stories and how he would literally go out of his way to help you any possible way he could.
