Donald Blaise MacNeil, 67 of 173 George St. Sydney, formerly of Middle Cape, passed away on Saturday April 18, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Daniel & Catherine (Totten) MacNeil. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, Sydney and Johnstown. He was employed for nearly 40 years at the Cape Breton Post.
Survived are sister Ann, Toronto, a niece and three nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Michael and sister Virginia MacInnis.
Visitation for the late Blaise MacNeil will take place Friday April 24, 2015 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Johnstown with Rev. A. O’Connor officiating. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
