

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Calvin Gerard Peck on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the age of 58 in Baddeck. Calvin was born on August 14, 1966 in Baddeck to the late Benjamin Peck Sr. and Elizabeth (Pierro) Peck.
Calvin was a friendly hard working person and his last employment was with the Wagmatcook Band for several years. Calvin was known in the community for his generosity, humble ways and his sense of humour. He was always available to help his family when in need. He lived with his late grandmother Annie Pierro for most of his adulthood. He was a devoted member of the Queen of the World Parish.
Survived by: brothers Roger Peck, Benjamin Peck Jr. (Martha), Alton Anthony Peck and Lester Peck (Anne); aunt Jean Peck from Eskasoni, godchildren Vernon Peck and Sharona Peck as well as several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calvin was predeceased by: brothers Gregory Peck, Leonard Peck, Abraham Peck, Eugene Peck and Cyril Peck; sisters Martha Peck, Jane Peck and Sandra Peck; nieces Elizabeth Ann Peck, Vanessa Peck, Annie Jane Peck and Cyndi Joy; nephews Cyrus Peck, Joshua Peck and Nilan Peck as well as godparents Mrs. Michael Peck and Freeman Pierro Sr.
A wake for the late Calvin Peck will begin at 7pm on Saturday, February 8 at the Elders Centre, 57B Fishery Rd., Wagmatcook. Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Monday, February 10 at Queen of the World Church, Wagmatcook with Fr. Victor Ozonoh officiating. Interment to follow in Wagmatcook Cemetery.
