Donald (Donnie) Alexander MacDonald, 72, passed away quietly at Northside Community Guest Home on Thurs, March 24, 2022. He was the son of the late Martin and Margaret (MacCormack) MacDonald of Kyte's Hill, Grand Lake Road, Sydney. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Jane and Bernadette and brother Brian. He is survived by his sisters Martina (Halifax), Mary (Bedford) and his brother Colin (Suzanne) of Sydney. He is also survived by one nephew, one niece and two grand nephews. Donnie attended the University of Waterloo and worked for Canada Post for a time. Donnie's family wish to thank all the caregivers at the Northside Community Guest Care for their gentle and devoted service. The family had a private funeral mass and burial at Resurrection cemetery.
