Eileen MacIsaac

Born in Glace Bay, she was the eldest daughter of the late Daniel and Florence (Morrison) McPhee (Steeles Hill Glace Bay).

She was a member of St. Theresa’s parish, Sydney. Eileen worked as a cashier for a number of years with Dominion Stores and at various other retail firms in her earlier days. Eileen truly enjoyed her many family gatherings and the sing songs they had around the family piano.

She is survived by her husband Michael, three daughters Jeanette (John Alan) MacDougall, South Bar; Elaine (Cecil) Langer, Middleton; Ann Frances, Sydney; 6 grandchildren John and Ian MacDougall, Michael and Michelle Langer, Jacob and Jillian MacIsaac, by a brother Fred (Faye) McPhee, Glace Bay; 3 sisters Jeanette (Harry) Meens, Halifax; Angie (late Fred) Goodwin, Middleton; Agnes Detienne-McPhee, Mississauga and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Gregory, brothers Adrian, Aloysius, Murray and sisters Sally Chisholm, Barbara White and Evelyn in childhood.

There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa’s Church on Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jim Oliver officiating. Interment at a later date.
