Jasmin Brigette Helen Francis

Born on June 25, 1992, to the late Max Sylliboy and Shirley Francis, Jasmin was the cherished baby of the family — a true princess to her parents and undoubtedly her daddy’s girl. She was a strong, resilient woman whose greatest love in life was her children. Her devotion to them was unwavering, and she took immense pride in being their mother.

Jasmin was also the beloved baby sister to her siblings and shared a special, unique bond with each one. She will be deeply missed by all of them, and especially by her many nieces and nephews who adored her dearly.

She leaves behind her loving children Merrick, Amerah, and Rilen, and her partner Elliott Gould. She is also survived by her siblings Tonia Sylliboy (Richard), Audrey Francis (Frank), Max Sylliboy, Carol Ann Marshall (Alex), Natashia Herney (Chris), Lance Paul, John Richard Sylliboy, and Hillary Francis. She is mourned by her godfather Rodney Alex, godchild Theo, her stepchildren and many other cherished relatives and friends.

Jasmin was predeceased by her parents, baby Angel, her godson Denzel, and her godmother Helen “Betty” Paul.

Visitation will be held at the Gabriel Centre in Eskasoni, beginning on Saturday, August 2nd at 7pm, and continuing until the Mass on Monday, August 4th at 10am at Holy Family Church, Eskasoni, with Fr. Antolin Asor officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Parish Cemetery.
