96 – Sydney
John Melvin Middleton, 96, of Mac Gillivray Guest Home and formerly of Rockdale, Richmond Co., passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at MacGillivray Guest Home.
He was the son of the late Charles and Mary ‘Minnie’ (Martell) Middleton.
Johnny was employed in the construction industry, also in fishing and logging.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Irene (Landry) and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation for Mr. Middleton will take place on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Anthony Daniel Church with Rev. Donald MacGillivary officiating. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
