Mary Boyd, 88 of Seaview Manor formerly of Cottage Road passed away peacefully Monday July 30 2012 at the Glace Bay General Hospital, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Jennings) Waye.

Being a Waye family member music was a very big part of Mary’s life. She loved her family and the time spent with them and her zest for life left a lasting impression.

She is survived by daughters Barbara ‘Buddy’ Clifford, Sydney; granddaughter, Kristi Chiasson (Ryan Oxley); great granddaughters, Jordyn and Emilie; sister, Mrs. Gail Anderson, Langley B.C.; brothers, Joe (Evelyn), Sean(Jessie) Sydney, Nelson Toronto, and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, James in 1986; twin sister, Liz MacPhail, sisters, Barbara George, Violet Lee, Ann Wall and sister Connie in infancy; brothers, Bern, Donald, Bud, and grandson Paddy in 1993.

There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 2 at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. Rev. T. Whent officiating. Donation in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
