Myrna MacLean

It is with sadness of heart that we announce the passing on Saturday, November 29, of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend Myrna MacLean at 86 years young. Daughter of the late Noel and Mary Eliza (Sylliboy) Moore.

Myrna seemed to have an endless amount of energy, which was matched only by her heart and courage to tackle any job. She was known to renovate and redecorate regularly and her impeccable taste and attention to detail meant everything was done to perfection. She loved Christmas and undertook Christmas decorating with the same energy & enthusiasm. Myrna's home and garden was her showpiece.

Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband John, son Ian and siblings Ralph, Dave, Alfred, Mary Margaret, Carl, Muriel and Barry. She is survived and will be missed by her children daughter Liza Parry and son Marty (Jennifer), grandchildren Diana, Ginny, Julia and Brandon, siblings Sr. Dorothy and Carol Marie, brother-in-law Peter, godchildren Wayne Waldvogel, Doug MacLean and the late Kenneth Moore as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her four legged companion Charlie.

A visitation will take place at the MacLean home starting at 3pm on Monday, December 8th with a Funeral Mass at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 40 Cabot Street, Sydney at 11am on Tuesday, December 9th.
