It is with sadness that the family of the late Peter Alexander MacKinnon announce his passing on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital , following a short illness.
Born in Sydney, his was the son of the late Thomas and Teresa “Dolly” (Medora ) MacKinnon.
Peter is survived by son, Sean (Kelly Barrie), Halifax ; sister, Angel MacKinnon (Bruce Metcalfe), Kingston, ON; dear friends, Julie Flynn, Frank Dakai and Carl Ghetto and his many friends and family at the New Dawn Guest Home; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, followed by a reception, both at T. W. Curry Parkview Chapel. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
