Born February 2, 1946 in Sydney to Susie Paul. He was raised by his grandmother Nancy Paul with the help of his godparents Helen Wells and Simon Paul.
Peter was a carpenter by trade. He helped to build many houses and buildings within his home community of Membertou. He was a member of the Cape Breton Carpenters Union Local 1588. Peter enjoyed reading and researching local history. Family was the world to Peter. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play their various sports, especially hockey.
Peter is survived by his loving wife Susan Margaret. He is also survived by his children, Janice (Sheldon), Vincent (Vicki), Stephen, Pamela (John), Ashley (Jonathan). Also stepsons Adam (Kim), and Oscar. Peter is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren of which he truly cherished.
A visitation will be held on Monday April 18, 2022 & Tuesday April 19, 2022 at TW Curry Parkview Chapel from 2 pm - 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday April 20th at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys at 11 am. with Fr. Bill Burke officiating.
