It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Joseph Gaudet, 56 of Sydney, on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of Philomena (LeBlanc), Dartmouth and the late Edmund Gaudet.
Richard had a lifelong passion for music enabling him to play with The Empirals , Sonny Slade and the Wee Hours and Tabloid.
He is survived by daughters Crystal (Tim) Barrington, Halifax and Michelle (Matthew) Slade, Leitches Creek; grandsons Wade and Keiran Barrington; granddaughter Breanna Slade; sisters Joan (Fabian) Nearing, Sydney and Anne Gaudet (Mario LaLiberte), Elmsdale; brother Bill Gaudet, Dominion; nieces Kimberly (Cory), Jennifer, Christine (Shawn), Chantal and nephew Eddie.
He was predeceased by sister-in-law Mary.
