Wanda was the matriarch of the Nancy Gould Clan. Her family and friends always felt her love and support. From graduations, birthdays, and family gatherings, to times of need they could always count on her to be there.
Wanda’s husband, children, and grandchildren were her whole world. She loved being a Kiju’ and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Wanda played a big role in caring for her late Kiju’, Mamadoo (Nancy Gould), her parents, and her Aunts Barbara and Monica. She was also an Auntie Mom for many in her extended family.
Wanda enjoyed spending time at the Mniku every July with her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family. She loved dear Se’t A’n and made her pilgrimages to Potlotek and to Ste Anne De Beaupré every year. She loved to take roads trips to Maine, PEI, NB and to Powwows with her children, and her late Aunts. One of Wanda’s many talents was cooking. Everyone loved her cooking and her famous “Wanda Bread” was always a favourite at every gathering.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Audie, and their loving children: Cyril (Amanda), Steven (Valerina), Alexander and Audie Ji’j, and her one and only baby girl, Audianna (Bladen). She loved being a kiju’, she will be sadly missed by all her grandchildren: Valerie Anne, Kendall, Vallie, Vaelyn, baby Steve, Letty, Josiah, Vanellope, Mazelynn, Zaivier, Violet, Sage, and baby Cyril. Her siblings: Colleen (Pat), Nancy, Lesley (Mona) and Willy (Belinda). Her godchildren: Sulian, Kalene, Cheyenne, Joyce, Caylee, and Lawrence. Also her sister by choice Chrisma (Sappy), her “Muffin” Carol Ann (Joey) as they called each other, and the Gould’s Lane Gang.
She is predeceased by her parents Annie Mae Paul and Colin Paul, of Eskasoni.
