William was born in Sydney on June 14, 1938 to the late Frederick and Margaret (Spencer) MacPherson. William grew up in the Shipyard and attended Sydney Academy. He worked at Eastern Bakeries until his retirement. William enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, country & western music, doing the daily lexicon puzzle, spending time with his wife and family, especially his grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Donna, sons Cole of Sydney, Clinton (Debbie) of Camrose, AB and Morgan (Kim) of Havre Boucher, grandchildren Blake (Erin), Chase, Trey, Jared, Owen and Keigan and grandpuppy Sherlock.
Besides his parents, William was also predeceased by his sister Florence and brother-in-law Don Stewart.
Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place. Inurnment will be in the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of 4A & Dr. Mike MacDonald for the care & compassion shown to the family.
