Almon "Eddy" Smith Jr.

Sylacauga, AL. - Almon "Eddy" Smith Jr., age 63, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at his residence.

Eddy is survived by his wife of 45 years, Angela D. Smith; three daughters, Chanda Lynn Ponder, Sandy D. Green (Mickey), Candy Presley (Kelly); six grandchildren, Erica Ponder, Marvie Ponder, Lawson Green, Bailey Green, Ethan Presley, Ryder Presley; two sisters, Debra Deason (Anthony), Sharron Scoggins (Tim); and several nieces and nephews.

Eddy was preceded in death by his parents, Almon Sr. & Norma Jean Smith.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a follower of Jesus Christ.

A visitation for Eddy will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Tim Green officiating.

Eddy will be laid to rest in Talladega Springs Cemetery, Sylacauga Fayetteville Highway, Sylacauga, AL.

Serving as pallbearers are Lawson Green, Mickey Green, Kelly Presley, Ryder Presley, Ethan Presley, Wayne Scoggins and Joey Scoggins.
