Anita Brannen

Anita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Anita is survived by her husband, Tony Brannen; son Shane Lee Cook (Emily) of Meridianville, Alabama; son Matthew Edward Brannen (Stephanie) of Sylacauga, Alabama; daughter Tanya Lynn Hunnicutt of Sylacauga, Alabama; and daughter Crystal Dawn Higgins (Brandon) of Gardendale, Alabama; brother Louie Gallops (Pat) of Hollins, Alabama and sister Judy Thornton of Titus, Alabama; grandchildren Taylor Hunnicutt McKenzie, Sarah Hunnicutt Gaston, Luke Edward Hunnicutt, Savannah Grace Cook, Ava Marie Cook, Michaella Lee Higgins, Christian Dale Higgins, Elainah Danielle Cook, Hunter Edward Brannen, Mattie Lane Higgins, Gage Matthew Brannen, Parker Blair Brannen and Case Mavrick Higgins.

Anita was preceded in death by father Romaine Gallops and mother Mattie Lee (Lindsey) Gallops; brother Roy Gallops; brother Gene Gallops; brother Wayne Gallops; and son-in-law Craig Hunnicutt.

A visitation for Anita will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hollins Baptist Church. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anita's memory may be made to Hollins Baptist Church.
