Weogufka, AL - Funeral service for Billy R. Connelley, 72, will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Weogufka 2nd Baptist with Bro. Brandon Baird, Bro. Steve Dyess, and Bro. Buddy Darnell officiating. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be in Weogufka 2nd Baptist in Weogufka, AL.

Mr. Connelley passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Edna Connelley. For his family and friends, there was no truer "Pops".

Mr. Connelley is survived by his wife, Mae Connelley, three sons, Billy Connelley Jr. spouse Rodney Tucker, Elton Connelley wife Jennifer, Michael Connelley wife Pam; six grandchildren, Shandi Hall husband Galen, Chelsea Connelley, Caleb Connelley, Mason Connelley, Fisher Connelley, and Amiyah Hughley; and a great-grandchild, Jason Hall.

Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Melvin Palmer, Roy Green, Quint Varner, Myles Palmer, Johnny Turney, and Bain Culver. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Nelson.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Coosa Valley Hospice, Weogufka 2nd Baptist Church, Weogufka Volunteer Fire Department, the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, and the UAB Pulmonary Clinic, Dr. DeAndrade and team.
