Funeral service for Billy Joe Tyler, age 78, of Muscadine will be Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 2PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Reverend Rouzelle Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery. He was preceded in death by parents: George and Hannah Tyler; brothers: Donald and Gary and sister-in-law: Barbara. He sung gospel music for 48 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Carolyn Reeves Tyler; Sons: Ronald Tyler (Jennifer), Richard Tyler (Connie); Daughters: Tammy Tyler, Teresa Tyler Smith (Pat), Debbie Tyler, , Melody Tyler; Brothers: Bobby, Jackie and Roger Tyler; Sister: Linda Gayle Roland; Grandchildren: Little Billy, Little Carolyn, Stephen, Amber, Cody, Stephanie, Jeffrey, Markia, Korey, Jalynn, Justice, Logan and 9 Great Grandchildren. Curtis and Son North Chapel will direct the services.
