Remembering my sweet friend Bobbie today as I listen to Henry Mahan preach on YouTube.  I miss our talks sweet girl.

As I sit in my living room listening to Bobbie’s favorite preacher, Henry Mahan, sharing a message of Christ our Lord from a TV airing, I remember it would have been her 80th birthday, a great day to celebrate with family.  She dearly loved her family and celebrating their birthdays brought her great joy because she was the greatest giver of gifts.  So happy for her that she was well enough to give the gift of care to her sweet Lester until he went home to the Lord. I know she is a happy spirit in heaven this special birthday. Love you Bobbie and miss your sweet voice.

Bobbie and I grew up in the same community, attending the same church, and school.  She was a precious friend with always a smile and a kind word.  I know the loss of one's mother and how badly it hurts.  Know that you are in my prayers for comfort.

Keith and Trena, I'm so sorry to hear of your sweet Mom's passing and yet, I'm thankful for her life and for giving both of you life. I'm thankful she is now in Heaven, whole and healed and with all who have gone before her. I understand the loss of both parents and it's a level of grief that is only understood by those who have experienced it personally. My prayer for both of you is that on the days when you miss her the most, the smell of her wonderful cooking, the sound of her laugh and the best of her memory will flood your hearts and minds. And on the days when the tears flow, that you'll know to the depth of your soul just how much she loved you and raised you to be the amazing, strong adults you've become. Lester was like a father figure to me, and you and him We’re always the best to us guys at CVEC.    Rest in peace Knowing you And Lester with God now!!

I met Bobbie and her sweet Lester in the 90’s at a church service and we instantly became great friends,  visiting in one another’s homes and sharing food and fellowship;  our conversations always centered around Christ. Our years of friendship leave me with treasured memories, and though she is now with the Lord,  she will be greatly missed by her friends and loved ones.
