Carey is survived by his wife, Angie Roberson; his children, Jeremy Lamar Roberson (Melissa) and Brandy R. Culberson (Josh); his grandchildren, Sophia Roberson, Paxton Culberson, Spencer Roberson, and Sutter "Scutter" Culberson; and his siblings, Joyce White and Tim Roberson.
Carey was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Evelyn Roberson, and his brother-in-law, Charles Rudy White.
Carey was the truest example of what it means to be a man who wore many hats and he wore them all with grace.
As a father, he always seemed to know exactly what to say, guiding his children toward becoming the best versions of themselves. As a friend, he had a gift for turning even the hardest moments into laughter, reminding everyone around him to not take life too heavily. As a husband, he showed his children what real love and respect looked like. He cherished his wife, always placing her on a pedestal and letting the world know that she came first. As a grandfather, his grandchildren were his entire heart, and you can see his legacy shining through in the people they are becoming.
Carey loved deeply and without condition – If he knew you, he loved you, and if he didn’t, he loved you anyway.
