Carl Dwight Duke

Carl is survived by his daughters Caroline Honeycutt (Charles), June Davison (Patrick), Carla Horton (James), Tammy Byrd (Terry), and Jennifer Kohl (Brandon); his sons Joseph Portillo (April) and John Duke (Natasha); the mother of his children Betty Duke; his brothers Ben Duke and Danny Duke, his sisters Sharon White and Robin McDonald; his grandchildren Lauren Riley, Emily Portillo, Jamie Bearden, Victoria Harry, C.J. Honeycutt, Ryan Davison, Brandon Davison, Joseph Davison, Carla Pruitt, David Pruitt, Cody Latta, Alex Byrd, Anna Bell Byrd, Steve Byrd, Layne Byrd, Ethan Byrd, Matthew Kohl, Hailey Duke, Elaina Duke, and Kinley Duke and his 5 Great Grandchildren.

Carl was preceded in death by his father Fred Duke and his mother Mary Barnes; his sister Darlene Burton; his grandson Connor Duke.

A visitation for Carl will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, Sylacauga, Alabama. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. Carl will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Davison, Joseph Davison, C.J. Honeycutt, Cody Latta, Alex Byrd and Jamie Bearden.
