Carolyn Merrell

Carolyn Merrell, cherished by all who knew her, passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on November 24, 1939, Carolyn lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, David Garrett and Michael Garrett (Brooke), as well as her grandchildren, Cody Garrett, Heather Garrett, and Grayson Coker. Carolyn's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, McKenzie Garrett, Aiden Garrett, and Easton Bates. She is also survived by her siblings, Donny Royal, Tallmadge Royal, Tony Royal, Cindy Alford, and Judy Johnston, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Merrell, her parents, Edward and Clorine Royal, and her siblings, Dianne Cooper, Rita Hughes, and Carlos Royal.

Her presence will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
