Christopher Paul "Preach" CannonMontevallo, AL - Memorial service for Christopher Paul "Preach" Cannon, 30, will be Friday, April 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating.  Due to the length of the service the family does not want visitors to feel compelled to stay for its entirety.Mr. Cannon died Monday, April 2, 2012.  He was preceded in death by grandfather, Rayford (PaPa) Cannon.He is survived by his wife, Lisa Cannon, grandmother, Christine (Memom) Cannon, father, Michael Cannon, wife Sarah; mother, Jackie Cannon; sister, Jennifer Laman, husband Lonnie;  nephew, Trey Laman; niece, Jada Laman; uncle, Marty (Unkie) Cannon, wife Melissa;  father, Greg Franklin; mother,  Jean Franklin; brother, Brent Franklin; grandmother; Mary Jean McGuire, aunt and uncle, Pat and Butch Waldrop; step-brother, Zack Malone; step-sister, Taylor Malone; step-brother, Phillip Walker; step-sister, Sarah Brown; a host of honorary brothers, sisters and friends. Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2012 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Trey and Jada's college fund.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
