Mr. Douglas David Jacks age 68 of Sylacauga, Al passed away at Brookwood Medical Center on February 1, 2014. Funeral services for Mr. Jacks will be a Graveside Service Wednesday February 5, 2014 at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 4, 2014 from 5-8PM at the North Chapel. Rev. Donnie Blackmon will be officiating the service. Survivors are Wife of 45 years; Glenda Jacks of Sylacauga, Son; Matt (Kristin) Jacks of Stewart ville. Daughters; Cathye (William) Wood of Fayetteville, Pam (Barry) Nelson of Sylacauga, Sherry (Jerome) Kissic of Alpine, Cindy (Mike) Shirel of Sycamore. Sisters; Myrtice (Jimmy) Pope of Weogufka, Elouise Webber of Sylacauga, Eveleene Floyd of Sylacauga, Mary Ann (Mike) Thornton of Sylacauga, Diana (Michael) Dew of Sylacuaga. Eight Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Parents Wesley and Zelma Jacks, Brothers; Perry Jacks and J.C. Jacks. Great Grandson; Dylan Kissic. Mr. Jacks loved his family and his Special dog Sassy.
