Doyle E. SmithDenham Springs, LA - Funeral service for Doyle E. Smith, 72, will be Friday, June 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Gary Bentley officiating.  Burial will be in Marble City Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mr. Smith died Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, La.  He was preceded in death by father, James Henry Smith, mother, Lillian Levenue Lightsey, daughter, Teresa DeAnn Smith Franklin and sister, Judy Lowery.  He loved his grandchildren, Alabama football, and gardening and was an electrician for 40 plus years.He is survived his wife, Carol Smith, by two daughters, Deborah Smith Senn husband Darrell of Marianna, FL. and Memorie Smith Menard husband David of Denham Springs, LA; son, Jeremy Todd Smith wife Michelle of Denham Springs, LA; four granddaughters, Gabrielle Wax, Katherine Grund, Hunter Brook Franklin, Madison Menard; six grandsons, Jacob Wax, Reese Smith, Alex Honeycutt, Brodie Smith, Colton Menard, Jerry Vasquez III; 3 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Peggy Green, Cathy Strawbridge husband Pete both of Sylacauga. Visitation will be Thursday June 2, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be David Menard, Frankie Green, Matt Bentley, Bobby Barnett, Kris Clark and Brandt Bentley.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
