Announcing the passing of Dylan Smith of Fayetteville, Alabama. Dylan passed peacefully surrounded by family on September 16, 2025. Dylan is no longer in pain and has received the ultimate healing through his savior, Jesus Christ.
Dylan is survived by his daughters, Evelyne "Eevee" Marie Smith and Violet Arabella Smith; parents, Kenny and Kim Smith; sisters, Kourtney Brown (Ethan), Kelsey Mitchell (Logan) and Jaycie Carden (Jacoby); grandparents, Larry and Nancy Smith and Janice Scroggins; uncle, Lynn Scroggins; nephews, Kayden Mitchell and Kash Mitchell; nieces, Rayleigh Mitchell, Blakely Brown, and Remi Mitchell. He is also survived by Violet’s mother, Kristen Jones, and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Dylan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Carol Hardy, and Jimmy Scroggins.
Dylan had an infectious Spirit about him. His Smile could light up a room. Dylan loved Skateboarding, Alabama football, music, but most importantly had a deep love for his daughters. He spent his days adoring them. Dylan was rooted in faith, and his journey inspired so many People.
A visitation for Dylan will be Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 N. Elm Ave., Sylacauga, AL. 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Jeff Harris and Bro. Paul Hickman officiating.
Dylan will be laid to rest in Fayetteville Methodist Cemetery, 5441 Old Fayetteville Rd., Sylacauga, AL 35150.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Brown, Logan Mitchell, Jacoby Carden, Hunter Taunton, Matt Williams, Alan Gooden, Kayden Mitchell and Kash Mitchell.
Special thanks to UAB HOSU, Dr. Mollie, and all those that prayed for him along the way, from Fayetteville to all over. Dylan will forever have a story that impacted so many lives.
